La Roche is a small village below La Plagne’s Olympic Bobsleigh, reachable by ski during the day or by free shuttle from Plagne Centre at night. The Chalet is a popular stop with locals and visiting skiers alike and is a great spot for a skiers lunch or a coffee pit stop. . Its varied menu focuses mainly on Italian dishes and pizzas. Easily reached by resort shuttle, it features a cosy, rustic interior that is small but full of character. Advance booking is recommended during busy periods. Prices are very reasonable for the generous pizza sizes, and the friendly, helpful staff add to the welcoming atmosphere.

Le Barillon is a casual, all‑day restaurant located in Champagny‑en‑Vanoise’s village centre, right by the tourist office. It’s a brasserie, crêperie and pizzeria with a sunny terrace, serving crêpes, buckwheat galettes, salads, pizzas, burgers, Savoyard specialities and ice‑cream sundaes. The friendly team welcomes guests throughout the winter and summer seasons, and takeaway options are available. The interior is warm and typical, and reservations are recommended.
