La Godille is a popular mountain restaurant serving hearty Alpine classics such as fondue, tartiflette and raclette, alongside a varied and creative burger menu. Standouts include the house special topped with Reblochon and bacon, or the tasty veggie option featuring a tofu patty. Guests can relax by the cosy fireplace inside or enjoy the sunny terrace when the BBQ is fired up, making La Godille a welcoming spot for a satisfying meal in a warm, inviting atmosphere.

La Godille is a well-loved restaurant in the heart of Plagne Centre, known for its generous menu and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re in the mood for a comforting tartiflette, a classic fondue or one of their inventive burgers, there’s something here for everyone. 

Choose from a range of burger options including the indulgent Godille burger with Reblochon and bacon, or go veggie with their tofu version. You can dine inside by the cosy fireplace or out on the sunny terrace, where a BBQ sometimes adds to the Alpine charm.

2. Le 4810 Restaurant

Open for lunch and dinner serving pizzas and local specialities. As well as pizzas and burgers, there is also a great value daily lunch menu consisting of a set main course and dessert.  Perfect if you want something quick and wholesome before heading back out onto the slopes.

Part of the CGH Residence "Les Granges du Soleil", at night, guests staying in the residence just need to hop in the lift to take their evening meal here but it's also easily accessible on foot from Plagne Soleil.

In the evening, the menu will temp you with steak, ribs, pizzas and, of course, Savoyard specialities, but make sure you save space for a little sweet treat at the end, such as their famous "Café Gourmand". All dishes are freshly prepared on site with locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.

Whether you go for the wonderful views from the terrace in the daytime or the cosy atmosphere in the evening; you will be well looked after by their friendly and enthusiastic team.

3. La Rossa Bar and Restaurant

La Rossa Bar and Restaurant is a cosy mountain spot on Plateau Rossa in Champagny‑en‑Vanoise, easily accessible by ski or on foot. It serves hearty Savoyard and French Alpine dishes, along with pizzas and self-service snacks. Guests can enjoy meals or drinks on the spacious sunny terrace while taking in views of the surrounding slopes and mountains. Popular for lunch and après‑ski, La Rossa offers a warm, relaxed atmosphere in the heart of the Alps.

The large sunny terrace is the ideal place to relax with a drink while you enjoy the view of the pistes and the mountains.

The restaurant is open from 09:00 to 17:30 for lunch, snacks and apres-ski. It is open in the winter season only.

La Luge Restaurant & Pizzeria, Montalbert restaurant terrasse

4. La Luge Restaurant and Pizzeria

This restaurant is known for its excellent pizzas and large salads. They also serve a range of gourmet local Savoyard dishes and homemade desserts. Specialities include poached egg with reblochon cheese, St Marcellin cheese with honey, tartiflette, and a wide range of pizzas and charcuterie.

Open from 11:00 to 23:00 during the winter season.

La Zaccota Restaurant, Montchavin interior

5. La Zaccota Restaurant

Montchavin

An Italian restaurant in Montchavin serving typical Italian dishes and pizzas as well as Savoyard specialities. It is a cosy farmhouse style restaurant at the foot of the Montchavin ski slopes with a terrace. Childrens' dishes and takeaway menus are available.

Open daily throughout the summer and winter seasons from 11:30 to 22:30.

6. La Cantine Plagne 1800 Restaurant

La Cantine is a popular restaurant in the heart of 1800, best known for its wide selection of pizzas, which make up most of the menu. Easily reached by resort shuttle, it features a cosy, rustic interior that is small but full of character. Advance booking is recommended during busy periods. Prices are very reasonable for the generous pizza sizes, and the friendly, helpful staff add to the welcoming atmosphere.

It's a warm welcome that awaits you in this restaurant from the friendly, dynamic team. Service here, most definitely comes with a smile.  And what can you expect to be served? Well word on the street is "the best pizzas in town" and it seems that few would disagree.

They also do a special, smaller sized "Bambino Pizza" just for kids. There are a few other menu options to choose from - French onion soup, salads, nachos, tartiflette and tapas but let's be honest, with word of mouth this good, you probably want to be eating pizza.

Their great food and reasonable prices means that this restaurant gets very busy, so booking a table ahead is definitely to be recommended, especially if you are a larger group. There is also live music and DJ's playing periodically throughout the week and take out is also available.

7. Le Barillon Restaurant

Le Barillon is a casual, all‑day restaurant located in Champagny‑en‑Vanoise’s village centre, right by the tourist office. It’s a brasserie, crêperie and pizzeria with a sunny terrace, serving crêpes, buckwheat galettes, salads, pizzas, burgers, Savoyard specialities and ice‑cream sundaes. The friendly team welcomes guests throughout the winter and summer seasons, and takeaway options are available. The interior is warm and typical, and reservations are recommended.

The sunny terrace is easy to access on skis or on foot and has a great view of the pistes.

L'Origan Restaurant, Les Coches interior

8. L'Origan Restaurant

This restaurant serves a wide menu including pizzas cooked in a wood fire and authentic mountain specialities such as baked Reblochon cheese. They serve wood-fired pizzas, fast lunches, traditional Savoyard dishes for dinner and crepes, hot chocolate and vin chaud in the afternoon. Children are welcome and have their own special menu. The restaurant is located at the foot of the ski pistes in the centre of Les Coches village, easily accessible by skis or on foot.

The owner Chris was formerly a professional sommelier so you can be sure there's good wine to choose from and his wife Odile is known for her authentic Savoyard homecooking.

Open every day in summer and winter, it has a bar and terrace. Open also for breakfast on Saturdays from 07:30.

9. Le 360 Restaurant

Le 360 is a scenic mountain restaurant located at Plateau du Fornelet in Plagne Montalbert, famous for its panoramic 360° views of surrounding peaks, including Mont Blanc. The self‑service menu features daily specials, rotisserie chicken, burgers, bruschettas, homemade soups, salads, and desserts, making it ideal for skiers and walkers. With glass walls and a large terrace, Le 360 provides a relaxed, casual setting to enjoy hearty meals while taking in breathtaking alpine vistas.

This restaurant offers two different dining choices - an informal self-service restaurant on the ground floor, just by the pistes, and a restaurant on the first floor.

Open from 09:00 to 19:15 every day during the winter season.

La Ferme de Cesar Restaurant, Montchavin restaurant terrasse

10. La Ferme de César Restaurant

La Ferme de César is a charming, traditional restaurant in the old village of Montchavin-les-Coches at the foot of the La Plagne ski slopes. Housed in an authentic restored farmhouse with a large sunny terrace and wood-burning stove inside, it serves hearty Savoyard and French classics alongside homemade pizzas, brasserie-style dishes and sweet crêpes. It’s ideal for lunch, après-ski or dinner in a cosy Alpine setting with friendly service and regional flavours.

Open for lunch it's in an ideal location at the foot of the ski slopes, so can be accessed easily. It has a bar and terrace for après-ski and children are welcome. Specialities include raclette, fondue, reblochonnade, pizzas, Potée Savoyarde and diots with polenta.

Open in winter from 08:00 and in summer from 10:00. They also serve breakfast in winter.

La Terrasse Restaurant, Aime 2000 style of cuisine

11. La Terrasse Restaurant

A lively resort restaurant and bar in Aime 2000, located right on the side of the ski slopes. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, pizzas and local specialities such as fondue, raclette and "plancha" (meat cooked at the table on a traditional griddle). Also on the menu, woks, pasta and burgers. It has a large piste-side terrace and is a great place to call in for lunch or après-ski during the winter season.

The atmosphere is fun and friendly, with parties and theme nights during the holiday season. Family friendly, popular with ski instructors, locals and holidaymakers.

Open every day from 08:00 to midnight in winter.

Chalet de la Roche Restaurant, La Plagne Villages style of cuisine

12. Chalet de la Roche Restaurant

La Roche is a small village below La Plagne’s Olympic Bobsleigh, reachable by ski during the day or by free shuttle from Plagne Centre at night. The Chalet is a popular stop with locals and visiting skiers alike and is a great spot for a skiers lunch or a coffee pit stop. . Its varied menu focuses mainly on Italian dishes and pizzas. Thanks to its lower, quieter location, it often offers better value for lunch than busier mountain restaurants.

With a cosy wood-panelled dining room and a large sunny terrace, this restaurant is good in all weather conditions.

The food is inspired by their Italian chef, so you can be sure that the pizza and pasta dishes are good! They also serve more traditional French food, as well as crepes and snacks. Once the lunch service is over the DJ starts his après-ski set on the terrace, which often turns into an open-air dance floor.

Located in Plagne 1500 near the Olympic bobsleigh track, it is open daily for lunch and every evening except Sundays for dinner. Free shuttle from resort on request.

La Casa de L'Ours Restaurant, Montchavin restaurant terrasse

13. La Casa de L'Ours Restaurant

La Casa de L’Ours is a vibrant all-day restaurant, pizzeria, and bar located on the front de neige at Plagne Villages in La Plagne. The menu features hearty, freshly prepared dishes, including wood-grilled meats, homemade pizzas, Savoyard specialties like fondue and raclette, burgers, and crepes. Guests can enjoy a sunny terrace in a warm, cosy setting, while the adjacent pub serves drinks, tapas, and sports, making it ideal for skiers, families, and groups.

They serve a well-priced menu of Savoyard dishes such as cheese fondue and tartiflette, where according to one French reviewer "le touriste n'est pas pris pour un pigeon" ("the tourist is not taken for a pigeon", meaning not ripped off or taken advantage of).

The restaurant has a large terrace, which you can ski/snowboard right up to, or you can access the restaurant from the shopping gallery beside the ESF office.

L'Arlequin Restaurant, Aime 2000 style of cuisine

14. L'Arlequin Restaurant

Their wide ranging menu offers a great range of pizzas and local Savoyard specialities like raclette, fondue and tartiflette. The décor is as much a part of the experience as the food, and the warm welcome from owners Monique and Georges makes it popular with locals and holidaymakers alike. Specialities include creamy risotto with morille mushrooms, Parma ham and scamorza cheese, egg duo with truffle, Rossini beef, scallops with chorizo and aubergines, salmon and beef tartare, or creamy tartiflette.

They also offer chef Benjamin Villain very own menus with the signature dish of the restaurant, La Potence, beef or prawns flambées with whisky or pastis. Unusual twists on classic French dishes and international touches makes this a memorable dining experience - for all the right reasons.
