Kenny Belaey's 'Balance' in La Plagne

This crazy Belgian rides across a slackline on his bike...over a 120m drop!

After more than a year of preparation and three months of intensive training Kenny Belaey succeeded in riding his mountain bike across La Plagne, a highline at an altitude of 2700 meters and over 18m long from one rock to another, over a 112m drop

Not only did the ride result in spectacular footage, but also giving him a world first: no athlete has ever succeeded riding a highline on a mountain bike before. Enjoy the amazing video above!

Upcoming Events

Each of the La Plagne resorts, as well as the surrounding villages, holds a number of events throughout the year. Ice climbing competitions and ski races take place in the winter months, in addition to the usual après-ski parties featuring live bands and DJs. The summer, on the other hand, attracts a number of trail running and cycling competitions, as well as live concerts.
