The bureau of Mountain Guides Montchavin les Coches can tailor each activity to suit you and your group, from canyoning, hiking, and high mountain adventures.
In summer you can go hiking, mountaineering, canyoning, climbing and try via feratta. And in winter there is snow shoeing, ski touring, winter mountaineering and ice climbing.
They cover the whole of the Tarentaise but also lead guided tours to other popular mountain destinations such as Chamonix and Mont Blanc, Zermett and the Gran Paradiso in Italy.

La Cantine is a popular restaurant in the heart of 1800, best known for its wide selection of pizzas, which make up most of the menu. Easily reached by resort shuttle, it features a cosy, rustic interior that is small but full of character. Advance booking is recommended during busy periods. Prices are very reasonable for the generous pizza sizes, and the friendly, helpful staff add to the welcoming atmosphere.
A lively resort restaurant and bar in Aime 2000, located right on the side of the ski slopes. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, pizzas and local specialities such as fondue, raclette and "plancha" (meat cooked at the table on a traditional griddle). Also on the menu, woks, pasta and burgers. It has a large piste-side terrace and is a great place to call in for lunch or après-ski during the winter season.
