La Plagne Local Loses Life in Switzerland
Fatal fall for Lionel Broche
La Plagne local Lionel Broche died after falling 300 metres whilst skiing off piste on the Dents-du-Midi in Switzerland.
Lionel was well known both locally in La Plagne and internationally for his snowpark shaping skills. His work was recognised in major events such as the King of Style, London Freeze and the Frostgun Invitational.
29 year old Lionel was ski touring in the Swiss Alps when he fell on the Forteresse couloir, 2800 metres, on the Dents-du-Midi.
