Looking for a romantic, one of a kind evening to mark your winter holiday this year? How about spending a night together, under the stars in your own private snow groomer!

La Plagne has introduced the “Over the Moon” experience – your chance to stay overnight, high up the mountain in a specially adapted piste-groomer machine. The unique hotel room features a queen-size bed with two panoramic windows: one overlooking the mountains and a second cut in the roof giving unequalled views of the night sky. Quite literally, your own 1,000-star hotel room!

As well as the stunning views, the cabin also features a private bathroom with a jacuzzi bath, a home cinema, LED lighting, and surprise gifts to further add to your stay. There’s free WiFi and a complimentary breakfast of Danish pastries and coffee to get you moving in the morning.

Your evening under the stars begins in Bellecôte as you are driven in the snow groomer to the top of the Arpette. You'll be collected in the morning before the slopes open.

What you do when you get there is up to you but the tagline, “What happens at 2,000m, stays at 2,000m” should be enough to inspire some ideas!
