When can you ski in La Plagne?
Weather and snow conditions permitting, you can usually ski in La Plagne from December to April using the lift system. Naturally, the season can be extended, typically with weekend openings in November or by ski-touring or hiking yourself up.
Season start and end dates may vary slightly as they are dependent on snow conditions. There may be a reduced ski area in operation if snow cover is insufficient or due to early/late season ramp up/down.

Lifts are open daily from 09:00 to around 17:00 subject to weather conditions and strong winds. Timings for each individual lift can be found on the piste map.

When are the lifts open in La Plagne?
During the summer months the lift system is more restricted than in winter, but still offers fantastic mountain access to hikers, bikers and selfie-takers!
The summer lifts cover the villages of La Plagne – Aime la Plagne, Belle Plagne, Plagne Villages/Soleil, Plagne Bellecôte, Plagne Centre, Plagne 1800 and Plagne Montalbert

In summer, most lifts run from 09:15 to 16:45 with a few exceptions, while the opening date for the lifts will vary depending on which part of resort they're in.

Each of the La Plagne resorts, as well as the surrounding villages, holds a number of events throughout the year. Ice climbing competitions and ski races take place in the winter months, in addition to the usual après-ski parties featuring live bands and DJs. The summer, on the other hand, attracts a number of trail running and cycling competitions, as well as live concerts.
