Easter is time for the school holidays, and there will be an influx of families, but as school holidays go this tends to be the quieter of them, so don't be put off coming on a spring ski holiday at this time of year. And if you don't need to holiday at the same time as the school kids, then once the families go back you can expect pretty deserted mountains for the final weeks - the locals favourite time of year.
Late season deals and offers are in an abundance as the season draws to a close. Every spring, accommodation providers often offer savings, particularly independent chalet and hotel operators, so if you hunt around you'll typically find that end of season rates are a different kettle of fish to those peak season weeks. Some have even been known to offer free kids lift passes or heavily discounted ski lessons.

Spring skiing isn’t just about making the most of the slopes - longer days mean more time to enjoy everything the mountains have to offer. As the clocks ‘spring’ forward, evenings stay lighter, giving you the chance to explore walking trails, stroll through the resort or watch the sun set over the peaks.
Each route provides spectacular alpine views and will give you the opportunity to explore the mountains, from the challenging high mountain trails to the easier strolls and walks.
A bus service will take you between the La Plagne towns and the beginning of routes, as well as allowing you to catch lifts that will give you access to various gentle high mountain walks.

No need to carry your ski equipment around with you! Simply pick it up from the ski shop in resort. You can collect your equipment from at least 5pm the day before your 1st skiing day.
Ski and snowboard rental in the main shopping gallery in Plagne Centre. Coming from Plagne Village, there is a free cable car (télébus) opened from 8.30am to 7pm. From Plagne Soleil a free shuttle bus can drive you to the shop each 15 minutes. Save time and money by booking online with Intersport. Have your equipment ready to pick up as soon as you arrive and hit the slopes straight away!
