Revamp of Plagne Centre front de neige

€1m investment on the snow front

By Ellie Mahoney, Updated

1 million euros have been invested in re-designing and revamping the front de neige in La Plagne centre.

The work is being done not only to create a clearer boundary between the ski area and the pedestrian area for safety reasons, but also to improve the aesthetics of the area.

The old stone walls, originally built in the 1960's have seen better days, and are now being replaced with smart looking new ones.

The work should be finished in late November.

You can see some of the work being done and check on progress via the Front de Neige webcam.
