La Plagne Snow Report: 8th Jan 2014

No more fresh snow but plenty of sunshine and good conditions on piste

Bertrand from Oxygene ski school told us this week looks like it's set to be a warm and sunny one, especially for January. There is no real need to go off-piste as it's not safe and the snow conditions are not the best, plus there is plenty of good on piste skiing to do.

Take a look at the video from Ben PiPoU messing around in the park.. those guys look like they were having a great time! Good skills lads.

Upcoming Events

Each of the La Plagne resorts, as well as the surrounding villages, holds a number of events throughout the year. Ice climbing competitions and ski races take place in the winter months, in addition to the usual après-ski parties featuring live bands and DJs. The summer, on the other hand, attracts a number of trail running and cycling competitions, as well as live concerts.
