La Cantine is a popular restaurant in the heart of 1800, best known for its wide selection of pizzas, which make up most of the menu. Easily reached by resort shuttle, it features a cosy, rustic interior that is small but full of character. Advance booking is recommended during busy periods. Prices are very reasonable for the generous pizza sizes, and the friendly, helpful staff add to the welcoming atmosphere.

Le 5 a 7siète is a welcoming bar and restaurant at the heart of Plagne Soleil, offering a warm Alpine atmosphere that celebrates the art of the mountains and the best local artisans and producers. Perfectly positioned, it’s the ideal spot to relax after a morning on the slopes or to enjoy a leisurely lunch with friends and family.

La Mine Bar is a charming English pub nestled in a chalet in the heart of Plagne 1800, offering a unique après-ski experience with its authentic mining-themed décor. Step inside and you’re transported to a cosy, atmospheric setting where rustic charm meets lively entertainment, making it a must-visit for both locals and visitors.

The exhibits in this museum range from the Neolithic all the way to the present day. 

In the Chiaupe glacier at the top of Bellecôte (3,417m), an ice cave has been dug every winter since 2005.

Plagne Centre is the biggest and busiest of the La Plagne villages. With shops, bars, restaurants and services all linked by indoor galleries, it’s a lively base that has everything you need. On the slopes it’s a key lift hub with easy access for beginners and challenging runs for experts, making it a great choice if you want to be at the heart of the action.

Aime La Plagne, or Aime 2000, sits at 2,100m and is one of the highest purpose-built resorts in the Alps. Its distinctive pointy-topped building houses most of the self-catering apartments along with shops, restaurants and ski services. With ski-in, ski-out access to the Paradiski area, beginner zones, blues and reds, plus spectacular valley and Mont Blanc views, it’s perfect for those chasing sun on their balcony and easy access to the slopes, as well as a small lively nightlife scene.

Situated at the convergence of several pistes, Plagne Bellecôte is ideal for skiers wanting to maximise time on the slopes. The village has plenty of self-catered apartments, restaurants, shops and bars, with lifts and a gondola just metres away. Well connected to Plagne Centre and Belle Plagne, it combines convenience with a lively resort atmosphere.

Belle Plagne is one of the prettiest villages in La Plagne with its chalet-style buildings, pedestrianised centre and welcoming atmosphere. The skiing is ideal for families and beginners with wide blues linking to Bellecôte and beyond, while more confident skiers can quickly reach the full La Plagne and Les Arcs ski areas. With shops, restaurants, bars and even a bowling alley, it’s a great mix of quiet charm and convenience.
