Nestled among the pine trees at the top of La Plagne 1800, this warm and welcoming traditional chalet enjoys magnificent views of the valley and is just a 5 minute walk from the slopes.
Chalet Genepy is a bright and spacious chalet that sleeps up to 14 people in 7 comfortable bedrooms. It is located right next door to Chalet Marmotte and close to Chalet Zibeline, so it is a great option for a large group of friends or families travelling together.
The interior has been decorated in a traditional alpine style using light timbers and bright fabrics throughout. The open plan living space is on the first floor and comprises of a cosy lounge area with ample comfortable seating centred around the wood burning stove. There is a large wooden dining table and chairs set to one side of the sitting area which runs parallel to the kitchen where your hosts will be preparing your delicious meals. Large French windows lead from this room onto the spacious balcony with its breathtaking panoramic views of the valley below. The balcony is a real sun trap when the weather is fine and a great spot to enjoy a cup of tea and slice of cake on your return from the slopes.
Any aches and pains from the day's activities can be eased away in the chalet sauna, or you can relax in front of the TV of an evening if you don't fancy heading out. Whilst the chalet enjoys a secluded, peaceful location, the free shuttle bus stops very close by and can whisk you into the centre of La Plagne in 5 minutes. Wifi is also available throughout the chalet.
The chalet has a secure ski locker with boot warmers where you can store all your equipment overnight and look forward to slipping on warm, dry boots the following morning.
The chalet is now open in summer as well as winter so if trekking or mountain biking is more your thing then this is the perfect place to stay!
